Merle Haggard’s hit song Silver Wings is where this company finds its namesake. Connie Mandula, founder and CEO of Silver Wings, created the company as a labor of love. Mandula grew up in a church that fostered her love for gospel music, and memories of listening to country music are where her passion for country began.

Mandula founded CM Promotions, Silver Wings’ parent company, when she saw an opportunity to provide corporate promotions and apparel to businesses in her hometown of Bloomington, Illinois. After learning the ropes and expanding her knowledge of apparel design, Mandula saw a serious void in the country music scene; merch tables at concerts almost always fell short of her expectations. Country music was an important part of her life, from listening to Reba through hard times to dancing all night at honky tonks, so she decided to take on the job herself.

Silver Wings is the product of an eye for fashion and a passion for the music. Since Silver Wings began it has provided numerous country music stars with cutting edge merchandise and marketing. A successful brand makes all the difference in both business and music, but it’s the passion beyond good branding that makes Silver Wings so different.
